The first session in my new Peace Power Parenting program is all about mindfulness and self awareness


What is mindfulness?  And why the heck does self awareness matter? 


I define being mindful as being aware of our attention. What are we shining that powerful light (our attention) on?  The saying, “where our attention goes, energy flows” is spot on.  The other saying, “what we appreciate, appreciates” also spot on.  Being mindful is all about consciously choosing what we want to grow. Where we want our energy to flow, and finding the POWER to make that choose more and more moments of our day. 


How awake are we to our life and to our choices?  That is the question, and mindfulness is the answer.
